About PatternPeace

A warm hello,

Nice that you found your way to me.

Do you want to know who is behind PatternPeace? My name is Lana, and I’m the head and the heart behind PatternPeace. I’ve always been a creative person with a deep love for illustrating, but it was more of a hobby than anything else. PatternPeace has now celebrated its second birthday, and it’s been quite an adventure.

I rediscovered my passion for illustrating during the first lockdown as a way to keep my sanity intact. Then, during the second lockdown, the idea to create products featuring my illustrations was born. It all began with postcards, and soon after that, I expanded into wrapping paper and bookmarks, among other things. Today, I offer a variety of products that reflect my creative journey.

I’m very multicultural, that’s why my inspiration comes from Ukraine, my country of origin, Beligium and Germany where I lived my whole life, USA where my husband is from. I find inspiration in the diverse world around me, nature, especially flowers and the sea have a special place in my heart, and I draw a lot of my creative energy from these elements, as well as the beautiful moments life presents. I love the works of great masters like van Gogh, Monet and many more, I’m also deeply drawn to the captivating color palettes found in Wes Anderson’s creations. These influences are woven into my designs, creating a unique blend of artistry and aesthetics. My ultimate goal with PatternPeace is to spread joy through my designs.

As a conscious business owner and creator, I’m committed to sustainability and try to include sustainable materials whenever I can, which is not always possible, thats why I don’t advertise with sustainability. I understand the importance of using eco-friendly materials, even though it’s not always easy for a small business like mine to secure cost-effective deals on such products but I’m always looking for sustainable alternatives. I make an effort to use recycled paper for my postcards and ensure that some products are only printed on demand, reducing waste and minimizing our environmental footprint.

PatternPeace is more than just a business for me; it’s a labor of love and a creative outlet where I hope to connect with like-minded individuals who appreciate art, nature, and sustainable living. Thank you for being a part of this journey, and I look forward to sharing more joy and creativity with you through my designs.

Peace & Love
